When I first got this Lockzo smart lock I was a bit skeptical because I've always been a keys guy but wow it's changed how I think about home security Right out of the box setup was a breeze and it snapped into place on my door no problem I've been using it for a couple of months now and overall it's been fantastic I mean forgetting my keys used to be a nightmare but now with the fingerprint or just using the app it's so convenient I can even check who's at the door when I'm at work which gives me peace of mind especially with my wife and our pets at home The voice control is a nice touch too I just ask and it unlocks no fuss But it's not perfect there are times when the app takes a second to respond or the fingerprint doesn't work right away which can be a bit frustrating Still for the price and what it offers it's a solid choice I'd recommend it to anyone looking to upgrade their door lock just be ready for a few minor hiccups
- Pros: Super easy to install and fits my door perfectly no hassle at all I love that I can use my fingerprint to get in super fast and not worry about keys anymore The app lets me control everything from anywhere and I can give temporary access to friends or the dog sitter which is a lifesaver The voice commands work well with my smart home setup and it feels very secure with the physical key backup just in case
- Cons: Sometimes the connection to the app seems a bit slow or drops out which can be annoying when I'm trying to check something quickly The fingerprint reader is great but it doesn't always recognize my print on the first try especially if my hands are a bit wet or dirty I wish it was a bit more reliable in those moments
