i had a problem with always forgetting to lock my door after long shifts at the hospital, so i got this lock hoping for a solution. it does lock itself automatically, which is a relief, and i can check who's been at my door through an app, which feels safer. but it's not perfect—sometimes it misses my fingerprint, and i had to fiddle with the connection to get it working right. as it seemed to me, it's a decent fix for my forgetfulness, but i'm still cautious about relying on it completely. the takeaway is that it makes life easier most of the time, but it's not extremely reliable in every situation.
- Pros: the lock opens super fast with a touch, which is great when i'm rushing to work, and i can let people in remotely without being there, saving me a lot of hassle.
- Cons: it doesn't always recognize my fingerprint if my hands are a bit wet or dirty, and setting it up with the internet thing was confusing at first, making me a bit nervous about security.
