as an engineer, i did a lot of research before buying this, and while it's helpful for daily dry cleaning, i'm a bit disappointed. it works fine on carpets and hard floors, but it struggles with pet hair in some areas. the navigation is smart but not perfect—it mapped my home quickly but still bumps into things occasionally. for the price, i expected more reliability, but it does save me time, so it's a cautious yes for now. i've used it for a couple of weeks, and it's okay, but not amazing.
- Pros: i can say for sure, it's super convenient to have this thing zip around and pick up dirt without me lifting a finger, especially with the self-emptying dock that holds a lot of debris for weeks, so i don't have to deal with dust clouds. the way it navigates in the dark and gets into corners is pretty impressive, and controlling it with my voice or app is easy, which is a big plus for my busy life with kids and pets.
- Cons: most likely, it doesn't handle wet messes well, which is a bummer since my floors get spills. sometimes it gets stuck or misses spots, and the setup needed a specific wifi connection that was a bit tricky at first. it's not the quietest, and i wish it was better at avoiding obstacles without my help :(
