Let me tell you about this little gem that’s about to become your new favorite thing. It’s a Retro USB LED Filament Touch Dimming Bulb, and yes, it’s as cool as it sounds. Imagine the charm of those old-school Edison bulbs, but with a twist—this one’s got a visible LED filament that throws off this warm, Instagram-worthy glow. Perfect for when you’re trying to turn your apartment into a cozy haven or when you’re out in the wild, pretending to rough it but actually glamping. And here’s the kicker: you can adjust the brightness with just a touch. Yeah, no fumbling for a dimmer switch. Plus, it runs on USB (5V), so you can plug it into your laptop, a power bank, or whatever USB-compatible gadget you’ve got lying around. It’s energy-efficient, lasts forever (okay, not forever, but a long time), and sips power like it’s a fine wine. Basically, it’s the lighting solution you didn’t know you needed.

Decision:

as a chef i need good lighting in my kitchen and i bought this to add some ambiance while i work i've been using it for a couple of months now and overall it does the job the warm glow is pleasant and it's energy efficient which i appreciate but the dimness is a drawback when i'm prepping food it just doesn't provide enough light and the touch feature can be finicky i had to tap it a few times to adjust which got annoying it's decent for mood lighting but not practical for serious use i might recommend it for a cozy corner but not for main areas

  • Pros: i liked the warm light it gives off very much it reminds me of those old bulbs and it looks nice in my kitchen the touch control for brightness is handy no need for extra switches and being able to plug it into usb makes it easy to use with my laptop or a portable battery it saves energy which is good for the bills
  • Cons: it took some fiddling to get the touch to work right at first sometimes it didn't respond as it seemed to me and the light isn't very bright even at the highest setting which can be a bit dim for tasks like cooking the build feels a bit flimsy not sure how long it will last with kids around
