my first impression was mixed; it does what it says, but not perfectly. as someone who's budget-conscious, i expected more for the money. it helps keep the house comfortable, especially with multiple kids, but the glitches make me wonder if it's worth it. overall, it's okay, but i've had better experiences with other gadgets. :)
- Pros: i can vouch that it arrived on time and was easy to set up without any wires, which is a relief. the screen is clear and easy to read, and being able to adjust the temperature from my phone when i'm not home is too convenient. it works well with my gas heating system, and the voice thing is a nice touch for when my hands are full from cooking.
- Cons: from what i feel, the app can be a bit slow sometimes, and the voice control doesn't always understand me, which is frustrating. it feels a bit flimsy for the price, and i'm skeptical about how long it will last with my kids around. the wireless connection drops occasionally, making it unreliable when i need it most.
