i got this because i wanted something smarter for my home and it does a good job overall it learns my habits and adjusts the temperature so i am comfortable without wasting energy installation was straightforward no need for a pro and the display is very clear but as a perfectionist i wish it had more options for fine tuning the settings it handles both my electric and water heating okay but in the winter it struggles a bit to keep up with the chill which is a letdown for the price i would recommend it if you are looking for an easy setup and basic smart features but not if you need something very powerful or highly customizable
- Pros: it keeps my place at just the right warmth without me fiddling with it all the time which is great for saving on bills and the screen is super easy to read even from across the room i managed to hook it up myself without any help which was a nice surprise
- Cons: after digging in settings it seems a bit limited in how much i can customize things and the heating power feels a bit weak on the coldest days here in seattle which leaves me wanting a bit more oomph
