i bought this lamp because i needed something better for my desk setup, as my old one was always too dim or too bright and made it hard to focus on my work or reading. this one solved that problem with its adjustable settings; i can make it bright for tasks or softer for winding down. the touch thing is a lifesaver, honestly. my takeaway is that it's a solid upgrade, though not perfect—i'd recommend it with a note that more color flexibility would make it even better. overall, it does what it promises without any major issues :)
