as an engineer, i bought this on a whim, thinking it might be a neat little gadget to brighten up my workspace. i expected it to be a bit more robust and perhaps have some interactive elements, but in reality, it's fairly basic. it chases light, sure, but it doesn't do much else, and the build quality seems questionable. it's okay for a quick laugh, but i wouldn't recommend it for anyone looking for something substantial. it's just not worth the money in the long run.
- Pros: the packaging arrived intact, which is always a plus. it's fairly compact, so it fits well on my desk without taking up much space. the concept is fun and it does chase light sources as advertised, which can be a cute distraction for a few minutes.
- Cons: it seems less durable than i expected; after a short time, it started acting up and not responding consistently. the novelty wears off quickly, and it doesn't add much value beyond initial amusement. i was hoping for something more engaging or useful, but it feels more like a gimmick.
