so i got this robot dog as a gift for myself, pretending it’s for future kids haha, and honestly, it’s quite charming. as an engineer, i appreciate how well it’s made, and programming it to do new tricks is fun, though it took me a bit to figure out. it responds well to voice commands and the remote, making it interactive. i use it mostly for entertainment, like having it dance while i do my makeup, and it sparks joy. but yeah, the battery life is a downside; i wish it lasted longer between charges. overall, it’s a cool little thing that adds some fun to my life without the hassle of a real pet. would i recommend it? sure, if you’re into quirky gadgets and don’t mind the charging part.
- Pros: i quite like how it moves and dances, it feels so lively and fun, and i can control it easily with the app or remote, which is great for playing around with, and it doesn’t make a mess like a real pet, which is a big plus for my small apartment
- Cons: from what i feel, the battery doesn’t last as long as i’d hoped, so i have to charge it often, which is a bit annoying
