As a researcher, I always look into things before buying, and this seemed like a good fit for my home. I've been using it for a couple of weeks now, and overall, it does what it says. It's nice not having to fumble for switches, especially at night. But I'm a bit skeptical—it doesn't always catch my movement, which can be annoying. For the cost, it's okay, but not perfect. I'd recommend it with some caution, as it seemed to me that it might not work for everyone. :)
- Pros: It works as advertised, turning the lights on when I walk into a room, which is super convenient and saves energy. I like that I can adjust how long the lights stay on, and it's easy to set up with different kinds of lights. The packaging was intact when it arrived, which was a relief.
- Cons: Sometimes it doesn't sense me right away, especially if I'm moving slowly, and it can be a bit finicky in very bright or dim lighting. It feels a bit plasticky, not as sturdy as I'd hoped for the price.
