i bought this on a whim because i was tired of not knowing where my youngest was all the time, and it does solve that—i can see their location and they can call me if needed. but honestly, it's not as reliable as i hoped; the tracking sometimes lags, and the build quality is disappointing. after a couple of weeks, it's already showing wear, and i'm not impressed with how it holds up. takeaway: it works okay for basic safety, but don't expect anything fancy or durable.
