as a teacher without kids of my own, i bought this as a gift for my niece, and it's been a fun way to stay connected. the courier called ahead for delivery, which was nice. i've used it for a couple of weeks now, and overall, it does what it promises—keeps her safe and lets us chat easily. the video quality is good for impromptu calls, and i appreciate that it's durable enough for a child's rough handling. but yeah, the battery life could be better, and it's not the most stylish thing, though she doesn't mind. for the price, it's a solid pick if you're looking for something reliable without overcomplicating things. would i recommend it? yeah, with a few caveats—it's great for basic needs but not perfect.
