I bought this primarily to keep an eye on my home and pets while I'm away, and it has been a decent addition. The video is crisp, and I enjoy being able to check in from my phone easily. It arrived on time, and setting it up was straightforward—no technical headaches. However, I'm a bit skeptical about the value since the outdoor capability isn't included out of the box. For indoor use, it's reliable, but I wish it handled low-light situations better without needing the built-in light. Overall, it does what it promises for home security, but it's not perfect. I'd recommend it with some reservations, especially if you're on a budget and don't mind the extra costs for full functionality.
