as an impulsive buyer, I grabbed this on a whim after seeing it online, and overall, it's been a solid choice. at first, I was disappointed with the slow start—getting it calibrated and connected took longer than expected, but once I figrued it out, things picked up fast. the solution was just taking my tome with the manual and a few practice flights. now, I use it regularly for capturing aerial shots at music events, and it performs extremely well. the takeaway is that it's a reliable tool for someone like me who wants high-quality visuals without too much fuss, though I wish the initial experience was smoother. it's definitely an upgrade from my old drone, making my hobby more enjoyable.
- Pros: the built-in screen on the remote is extremely convenient, letting me see the live view without needing my phone, which makes flying feel more intuitive. the video and photo quality is sharp and smooth, capturing wide scenes beautifully without any shake, and it's great for recording concerts from above. the automatic return feature gives me pece of mind, ensuring I never lose it, and the follow function works well for hands-free shots. the carrying case is sturdy and makes storage easy, plus it supports a good amount of memory for all my footage.
- Cons: initially, it had a slow start wtih some setup hiccups, as it seemed to me the instructions weren't as clear as I'd hoped, leading to a bit of frustration before I got it airborne. compared to what I used before, the battery life could be better, as it doesn't last as long as I'd like for extended outings.
