I bought this as a gift for my partner who loves camping and cooking outdoors. It does its job fairly well alerting us to potential gas leaks which is crucial with a child around. However it has gone off a few times when there was no real danger which is annoying. For the cost I thought it would be more refined. It works but could be better.
- Pros: It detects gas leaks reliably and the alarm is loud enough to get your attention quickly. Easy to install with standard power connections and fits well in small spaces.
- Cons: The alarm can be overly sensitive sometimes triggering for minor reasons and the build feels a bit cheap for the price. I expected more durability and fewer false alarms.
