As an impulsive buyer, I grabbed this because safety is important, especially with gas appliances around. I've had it for a couple of months now, and while it does its job well in detecting issues, I can't help but feel a bit let down. Why didn't I think more before buying? It's very functional, but the design isn't great, and I expected more modern features. Still, it's reliable and has probably saved me from some risks, so I'd say it's worth it, but with reservations. :)
- Pros: I really appreciate how easy it was to set up—just stuck it on the wall and it started working right away. The display shows the levels clearly, which makes it very intuitive to check at a glance, and the alarm is loud enough to grab attention if something's wrong. Having the battery backup gives me peace of mind during power cuts, which is a big plus.
- Cons: From what I feel, it's a bit disappointing that it doesn't blend in well with my decor, and I wish it had a way to connect to my phone for alerts. Compared to what I used before, the alarm can be very jarring and might cause false scares, which is frustrating. Also, it requires regular testing, which adds to my chores.
