I bought this thinking it would be a solid choice for keeping an eye on my yard, especially with a kid around, but reality hit hard. The video looks decent in daylight, but at night, it's grainy and hard to make out details, which is disappointing for something that claims to see in the dark. The motion alerts are a nightmare – they ping me constantly for leaves blowing or a passing car, so I end up ignoring them. Adjusting the camera angle and light settings through the app is clunky and not intuitive; it feels like a chore every time. Installation was okay, but not the breeze they promised, and I had to fiddle with it more than I should. For the price, I expected better performance and less frustration. It might work for some, but for me, it's not living up to the hype.
- Pros: Pretty good video quality during the day and the light is fairly bright when it turns on. I liked that I could talk through it and hear what's happening outside.
- Cons: The alerts are way too sensitive and go off for nothing most likely, and the night vision isn't as clear as I expected. It's a hassle to adjust everything through the app, and the setup wasn't as easy as they said.
