Ring Floodlight Cam Wired Pro : 2K Video
Want to beef up your home's security without turning it into Fort Knox? Meet the Floodlight Cam Wired Pro—your new best friend in pro-level protection. It's not just about watching; it's about seeing everything in 2K video clarity, whether it's high noon or midnight. And when something moves? Bam! The motion-activated LED floodlights light up the scene like a mini stadium, while the built-in 110 dB security siren tells intruders, 'You picked the wrong house, buddy.'
But wait, there's more (because why stop at good?). With 3D Motion Detection and a Bird’s Eye View, you're basically getting a drone's perspective without the drone. Spot motion from above and get alerts that actually matter, not just because a leaf decided to take a stroll. And thanks to dual-band wifi connectivity (2.4 or 5.0 GHz), your connection stays as reliable as your morning coffee. Oh, and it plays nice with Alexa, so you can hear alerts on your Echo or catch live views on your Echo Show, Fire TV, or Fire Tablet—because who doesn't love multitasking?
Feeling chatty? Use Two-Way Talk to tell the delivery guy where to leave the package or scare off the neighbor's cat (we won't judge). For the full VIP treatment, pair it with a Ring Protect plan (sold separately) and unlock perks like 24/7 recording and alerts that actually know if it's a person or just a very ambitious squirrel. ♂️🏡

Before getting this, I relied on a basic setup that often missed things or had poor image quality. Now, with this device, I feel more secue, especially with the clear video and instant notifications. It's quite reliable for keeping an eye on the property, though the extra fees for advanced features are a downside. Overall, it's a solid improvement for home security.
- Pros: The video quality is quite sharp, making it easy to see details day or night. I appreciate how it lights up the area when moion is detected, and the siren is loud enough to deter unwanted visitors. Connecting to my home network was straightforward, and it works well with my smart home devices for alerts and live views.
- Cons: It requires a subscription for full features like contiunous recording, which adds to the cost. The installation was a bit tricky and might not be for everyone. Occasionally, it picks up minor movements like animals, leading to unnecessary alerts.
