so i got this on a whim because i needed something for the la heat, and as a freelancer with kids, i thought it'd be a smart buy. it does its job okay, cooling and heating without making a racket, which is nice for my fitness routines at home. but man, the setup was a pain—had to call in a pro, and that cost me more than i expected. the energy savings are there, but not a game-changer for my low income. controlling it from my phone would be cool, but why charge extra for the app? feels like a rip-off. overall, it's functional but not amazing, and i'm a bit disappointed it didn't live up to the hype. if you're impulsive like me, maybe think twice and budget for the installation :).
