as someone who's always on the road for my business, i was excited to get this for extra security, but it's been a bit disappointing. the daytime footage is clear and the wide view helps, but at night, it's hard to make out details, which defeats the purpose for me. i had to buy an additional kit just to use the parking mode, and that added to the cost. the app is convenient when it works, but it's crashed a few times, making me miss important recordings. a tip i'd share is to test it thoroughly in different lighting before relying on it. overall, it's okay for basic use, but not worth the investment if you need reliability.
- Pros: from what i feel, the video quality is quite sharp, which is great for capturing details on the road. i liked that it can see a wide area in front and behind, making blind spots less of an issue. transferring videos over the internet is fast and easy with the app, and it's lightweight to set up.
- Cons: unfortunately, the night vision doesn't work as well as i hoped—it's quite grainy in low light. the parking feature needs an extra purchase to function, which feels like a hidden cost. the app can be glitchy at times, and i had some trouble with it not saving clips properly during bumps. storage is limited out of the box, so you might need to spend more on a bigger card.
