as a mom who drives a lot around ahmedabad with the kids for school and activities i was really excited to get this dash cam to keep an eye on things and maybe catch some interesting moments on the road i've been using it for a couple of months now and overall it does its job but with some hiccups the video is indeed sharp and i appreciate how it captures a wide angle so i don't miss anything happening nearby the automatic saving feature has already come in handy once when someone bumped my scooter while it was parked and i could review the footage easily however the touch interface is a letdown it often requires multiple taps to respond which can be distracting while driving and the battery life isn't great for extended parking monitoring i had to invest in an extra power source to make it work properly delivery was delayed by a day but that was fine no big deal for someone like me who values reliability and ease of use this device is okay but not perfect it gets the basics right but could use some improvements in user friendliness and efficiency
- Pros: i liked that the video quality is extremely clear and sharp making it easy to see details like license plates without any fuzziness the wide view from the front and back lenses gives a good sense of whats happening all around the car which is great for safety and the feature that automatically saves recordings when it senses a bump or shake works well and gives me peace of mind especially in busy areas
- Cons: the touch screen can be a bit finicky and unresponsive at times which is frustrating when i need to quickly access something the parking monitoring function drains the battery faster than i expected so i have to keep it plugged in more often and the setup was not as straightforward as i hoped taking me a while to figure out the settings and mounting
