Decision:

I bought this on a whim after worrying about safety in our neighborhood, and it's mostly solved my problem. The image stays sharp even in low light, and the wide view means I can see most of the yard without extra cameras. It's durable and handles temperature changes well, which is important here. Downsides are the false alerts and the storage, but overall, it's a solid choice for basic security without breaking the bank. I'd recommend it with some patience for tweaking settings.

• Pros: The camera was just what I needed for keeping an eye on my yard, especially with a little one around. From what I feel, the picture is really clear both day and night, and it covers a wide area so I don't miss anything. Setting it up was easy with the power-over-cable thing, and it's held up well in all kinds of weather, which is great for LA's heat.
• Cons: Sometimes the motion alerts are too sensitive and pick up small things like leaves, which can be annoying. The storage option is a bit limited since it only uses a small card, so I have to manage it often. Also, the sound quality from the built-in mic isn't the best, making it hard to hear details clearly.

As someone who bought this as a gift for my partner to keep an eye on our pets in the garden, I had a lot of questions before purchasing. Does it really work in all weather? Well, after using it for a couple of weeks, it seems to hold up in rain and cold, which is good for Edinburgh's unpredictable climate. How's the image quality? It's fairly sharp, and I appreciate that it adjusts itself, but I've noticed it can be grainy in very low light. Is it easy for a beginner like me? Yes, the setup was straightforward, but I had to look up some things online—not perfect. Overall, it does the job, but I'm not blown away; it feels like it could be smarter or more reliable. Decision:

I was skeptical at first but this camera has grown on me it does what it’s supposed to do without much fuss the packaging was intact and everything was there the setup was straightforward even for someone who’s not super tech-savvy i’ve only had it for a couple of weeks so i could be wrong but so far so good it’s a solid choice if you’re looking for something reliable though i wish the false alarms were less frequent

• Pros: The camera is super easy to set up finally a product that doesn’t require a manual the size of a novel the image quality is sharp even at night and the wide angle means i can see more of my yard without needing multiple cameras the build feels sturdy and it survived a heavy rainstorm without any issues
• Cons: The motion detection could be better it sometimes picks up leaves blowing around as if they’re intruders and the microphone is a bit sensitive picking up every little sound which can be annoying the price was a bit steep compared to similar options but i guess you pay for the brand
