So I got this Yasotek light for our home, thinking it'd be perfect to add some fun vibes to the living room and maybe the carport since I'm into automotive stuff and we have a kid who loves colorful things. At first, I was super excited—it arrived quickly, and setting it up was easier than I thought, no tools needed really. The cord is long enough to reach where I want, and the brackets adjust easily, so I could angle it just right. I loved playing with all the colors through the app; it's like having a rainbow at my fingertips, and my daughter gets a kick out of it. Plus, it works with our voice assistant, which is handy when my hands are full. But after using it for a couple of weeks, I started noticing issues. The app sometimes freezes or doesn't connect, which is frustrating when I'm trying to change the light quickly. The remote that came with it feels flimsy and only works if I'm super close, which defeats the purpose. Also, it doesn't always remember the last setting I had, so I have to reset it often. For indoor use, it's okay, but outdoors, even though it's supposed to handle rain, I'm a bit worried about longevity. Overall, it's a decent light for the money, but it could be better. I might keep it for now, but I'm not totally satisfied. :)
- Pros: I really liked how easy it was to set up, with the long cord and adjustable parts making it a breeze to install. The colors are incredibly vibrant, and being able to control it with my phone or voice is top-notch. It holds up well in wet conditions, which is great for our patio.
