as someone who drives a lot around san diego for work and errands, i wanted something reliable without spending a fortune, and this xiaomi dash cam fits the bill pretty well, i've been using it for a couple of months now, and it's been a solid companion on the road, the clarity is top-notch during the day, and i appreciate how it logs where i've been, which gives me peace of mind, installation was a breeze—just stuck it on the windshield and plugged it in, no tools needed, a little tip i picked up is to make sure the lens is clean before long drives to avoid any blurriness, overall, it's a great value for the price, though i wish the night vision was a bit stronger, but for most situations, it does the job well and helps me feel safer behind the wheel
