as a mom who's always on the go between work and picking up my daughter from school in san antonio i grabbed this on a whim during an online sale and i'm pretty happy with it the dual cameras give me peace of mind because i can see both the front and back which is great for traffic and parking the video quality is amazing it captures every little detail like license plates and street signs even in low light which has already helped me in a minor fender bender situation the display is decent sized making it easy to review footage quickly and the gps feature is cool for tracking my drives to concerts or weekend trips however it's not perfect the unit is a bit large and it took me some time to set it up properly without it looking messy in my car and in bright texas sun the screen can be hard to read plus i've noticed if i forget to turn it off it seems to suck power from my battery which is a worry overall it's a solid choice for safety and i'd recommend it to friends but it has its quirks that keep it from being flawless :)
- Pros: i honestly love how this thing has two cameras it feels like i have eyes everywhere which is so reassuring especially with my kid in the car the video is incredibly sharp and clear even at night it seems to light up everything like magic and the screen is big enough to check things easily without any hassle the gps keeps track of where i've been which is handy for remembering routes :)
- Cons: it's too bulky and a bit tricky to install on my own honestly the screen could be brighter in direct sunlight and sometimes it seems to drain my car's battery if i leave it on too long which is annoying for an impulsive buy i wish it was more seamless
