As an entrepreneur always on the go with my kid in the car I needed something reliable and this E-ACE device seemed promising at first. The image is crystal clear capturing details I didn't even notice while driving and the night vision works well making dark roads less scary. BUT assembly is NOT a breeze as advertised it took me a good hour to get everything mounted and connected properly. The sensitivity feature locks footage too often for small things like closing the car door which means I have to constantly manage the storage. WIFI and GPS integration is handy but it drains the car battery if left on too long. Overall it does the job but has flaws that make me question if it's worth the hassle for a perfectionist like me who expects everything to work seamlessly.
- Pros: The video quality is extremely sharp both day and night making everything on the road clear and easy to see even in low light and the wide view covers a lot so I feel like nothing gets missed which is great for safety. Connecting to my phone was a breeze and I can check footage or see where my car is without any hassle.
- Cons: Setting it up took some time and was a bit fiddly especially with the optional extra camera and I had issues with the sensor being too sensitive locking files for minor bumps which fills up storage fast. The design feels a bit bulky and not very sleek which annoys my perfectionist side.
