i bought this a couple months back after a minor fender bender made me realize i needed something to keep an eye on things. delivery was quick, and i've been using it daily on my commutes raound paris. overall, it does the job decently—captures clear footage and the auto-save feature gives me peace of mind. but it's not perfect; the occasional glitches with the monitoring and connectivity mean i can't fully rely on it. for the price, it's okay, but i might look for something more robust down the line. it's a solid middle-of-the-road option tat gets the basics right but lacks polish.
- Pros: i can say for sure, the video quality is very sharp during the day, and it handles low light surprisingly well, maknig night drives less stressful. the automatic saving when it detects a bump works flawlessly, and i love that it keeps recording without me having to manage storage—it just deletes the oldest clips. plus, connecting to my phone wirelessly is a breeze for grabbing videos quickly.
- Cons: as a perfectionist, i noticed the parking monitor ciuld be more reliable; it sometimes misses events when i'm away. the wireless connection drops occasionally, which is frustrating when i need to transfer footage urgently. it's not the most discreet design, and i wish it integrated better with my car's setup without extra cables, though it claims to hate them.
