As a stay-at-home mum, I bought this grocercollect ball hoping it would keep my cat active and give me some peace while I cook or watch telly. In reality, it does get her moving for a bit, but not as much as I expected. It's well-made and simple to operate, which is good for someone like me who isn't tech-savvy. However, I find myself having to turn it off sometimes because the sound bothers me, and my cat doesn't seem as fascinated by it after the first few uses. It's decent, but I thought it would be more effective at keeping her entertained long-term.
- Pros: It seems super easy to use, just turn it on and it starts moving on its own, which is great for keeping my cat entertained without me having to do much. The ball is built very sturdy and has survived my cat's rough play without any damage, which I appreciate. It does encourage my lazy cat to get up and move around more, which was my main hope.
- Cons: I expected it to be a bit more engaging for my cat, but after a while, she seems to lose interest and goes back to napping. The noise it makes is a bit noticeable and can be distracting when I'm trying to relax. It doesn't move in as varied patterns as I had hoped, so it gets predictable quickly.
