i picked this up hoping to give my cat something fun to do, especially since she's always full of energy and tends to scratch the furniture. at first, it was great—she'd chase it around and get some exercise, which was a nice break for me. but after a few weeks, the novelty wore off, and she lost interest. i found that rotating it with other toys helps keep her engaged. it's easy to set up and use, no complicated instructions, but the noise level can be a bit much during quiet times. overall, it's a decent toy, but not the miracle worker i was hoping for. i'd say it's worth a try if your cat is easily amused, but don't expect it to solve all your pet parenting woes. :)
