before i got this, i was always misplacing my old remote and ended up sweating through evenings because i couldn't adjust the cooling. after using this for a couple of months, it's been a relief to have a reliable controller that just works without any fuss. it fits nicely in hand, and the buttons are responsive, though i expected a bit more innovation for something bought as a gift. overall, it does the job but feels a bit plain. :)
