i bought this for my grandkids thinking itd be a good alternative to a real pet since we cant have one at home my expectation was something durable and entertaining but the reality is its a fun toy that does deliver on the playful antics it performed as described with various functions and the kids especially enjoyed making it dance and do kung fu moves however the battery life is a letdown it seems to drain quickly with heavy use and i found myself replacing them every few days which adds up the build feels light and a bit plasticky but it hasnt broken yet after a couple of weeks of use overall its a decent purchase for the money and the educational aspect with programming is a nice bonus but i wish it held up better on battery and had smoother motions
- Pros: it worked straight away after putting in the batteries and my grandkids loved how it could do handstands and patrol around the house as it seemed to mimic a real pet incredibly well the ability to control it from far away was handy and teaching it new tricks with programming kept the older ones engaged for hours
- Cons: the batteries dont last very long and need changing often which gets a bit costly over time and while its fun the movements can be a bit jerky at times not as smooth as i expected for the price in the same range
