As an older guy who's into tech and bought this on a whim, I was excited but ended up a bit disappointed. The video quality is sharp, and the stability from the gimbal is nice for smooth shots, but the obstacle avoidance is weak—I had a couple of close calls. The return-to-home feature is good for safety, but the follow mode and waypoints were frustrating; they felt half-baked and didn't perform consistently. Battery life is decent with the extras, but overall, it's an acquired taste—not terrible, but not great either. For beginners, it might be okay, but I expected more for the price. Tips: Fly in open areas to avoid crashes, and don't rely too much on the automated modes. :)
- Pros: The camera captures very clear and stable video, which was a pleasant surprise. It returns on its own when the battery gets low, which is handy. Having two batteries gives a good amount of flying time, and it's quieter than I expected.
- Cons: It didn't avoid obstacles as well as I hoped, leading to a few bumps. The smart features like following me didn't work reliably, often losing track. Setting up the flight path was confusing and not as intuitive as it seemed to me.
