As a military guy with a busy schedule, I wanted something reliable for capturing family moments and my dog's adventures, and Potensic has been a brand I trust. Delivery was quick, which was a plus. I've been using this for a couple of months now, and overall, it's been a solid performer. The clarity in videos is top-notch, making our outings look professional. However, I've had a few hiccups with the auto-follow feature not keeping up during active scenes, which is a letdown. It's great for scenic shots and stable flying, but if you're counting on perfect tracking every time, you might be disappointed. For the price, it's a good value, but there's room for improvement in the smart features. I'd recommend it with a caveat—it's excellent for basics but not flawless for advanced tricks.
- Pros: The video quality is extremely sharp and vibrant, even in low light, which is perfect for capturing my dog's antics in the park. I love how stable the footage stays, no matter how windy it gets here in Chicago, and the long-range control means I can fly it far without losing connection. The battery life is impressive with multiple batteries included, so I can keep shooting for ages without interruptions.
- Cons: Sometimes the tracking feature doesn't lock on as smoothly as I'd like, especially with fast movements, which can be frustrating when trying to follow my kid or pet. The charging time feels a bit long, and I wish it were quicker to get back in the air. Also, the initial setup had a learning curve that took some time to master, which wasn't ideal for a quick start.
