i bought this on a whim after seeing an ad, and it's been okay for casual use. as a beginner, it's not too hard to figure out, but i've had to look up some tips online to get the most out of it. for instance, flying it in open spaces works best to avoid signal issues. it arrived fast, the courier called ahead, which was nice. overall, it does the job for home videos, but don't expect pro-level stuff. it's fun for the family, but i'm not blown away—seems average for what you pay.
- Pros: for the price, it's extremely portable and folds up small, making it easy to carry around without any hassle. the video and photos come out really smooth, no shakes at all, which is great for capturing my kid playing in the yard. the battery life seems decent with two included, and it connects quickly to my phone for control.
- Cons: the range isn't as good as i hoped; it cuts out sometimes when i fly it a bit far, and the tracking feature seems a bit finicky—doesn't always follow things accurately. setup took a while, and it feels a bit fragile, so i'm cautious with it around the house. the app can be glitchy at times, which is annoying.
