before getting this, i was using basic trackers that only did location, but this one adds communication and app support, which is a big step up. in the same price range, others might offer better durability, but the features here are more comprehensive. ater using it for a bit, it does what it promises, though not perfectly. i'd say it's a solid choice if you prioritize connectivity over build, but don't expect it to be flawless.
- Pros: from what I feel, it's qiute handy for keeping track of someone's location in real time, and the ability to connect without a phone is just what the doctor ordered for staying in touch. i also like that it works with common app systems, making it easy to add fun or educational stuff.
- Cons: the build quality feels a bit cheap for the price, and i've noticed the battery doesn't last as long as i'd hoped, especially with everything running. sometimes the connection drops unexpectedly, wihch can be frustrating when you're relying on it.
