As a healthcare worker, I'm always skeptical about things that promise to keep things clean, but this one surprised me. I bought it hoping it would help with germs, and it does a decent job, but it's not perfect. Why did I get it? Well, I wanted something smart for my small apartment without spending a lot. How has it held up? After using it for a couple of weeks, it's okay, but I wish it was more reliable. Would I recommend it? Maybe if you're on a budget and need a basic automatic bin, but don't expect miracles. It's functional and stylish, but not incredibly amazing. :)
- Pros: From what I feel, it's incredibly handy that the lid opens with just a wave of my hand, so I don't have to touch anything gross, and it fits perfectly in tight spaces like my bathroom corner. The white color blends in well with my decor, and it's easy to set up with batteries, no cords needed.
- Cons: Honestly, I'm a bit disappointed that it doesn't hold more trash, and the sensor sometimes acts up, making me wave my hand a few times to get it to open. Also, for the price, I expected it to be a bit sturdier or have better battery life.
