As an older guy who bought this on a whim, I find the WTEMPO trash can to be a mixed bag. It's nice not having to touch it, and it looks good in the kitchen, but the inconsistency with the sensor is a letdown. I've used it for a couple of months now, and while it's mostly functional, it doesn't feel as smart as advertised. For the price, I expected better performance, but it's still an upgrade from a regular bin. Most likely, it's fine for basic use, but don't expect perfection. :)
- Pros: I quite like the automatic opening feature; it's very convenient and hygienic since I don't have to touch the lid. The design is sleek and white, blending well with my home decor, and it runs on batteries, making it easy to place anywhere without wires.
- Cons: The sensor doesn't always work reliably; sometimes I have to wave my hand multiple times to get it to open, which can be frustrating. The battery life isn't great and needs frequent replacement, adding to the cost and hassle over time.
