As a mom with a young kid, I bought this on a whim to feel safer at home, and it's been fairly good overall. The video quality is sharp, and I appreciate getting notifications right away—like when the courier called ahead, I could see them clearly. But the battery doesn't last long, maybe a week or so, and I've had moments where it didn't connect properly, which is frustrating. For the price, it's decent, but I wish it were more reliable. I'd recommend it with some patience, especially if you're not always home.
- Pros: I liked that the video is really clear, so I can see who's at the door without any fuzziness, and it works well even at night which is great for those late deliveries. The alerts on my phone are instant, so I never miss a visitor, and since it connects to my home network, I can check in from anywhere, which is super handy when I'm out and about.
- Cons: The battery life seems to drain fairly quickly, so I have to charge it more often than I'd like, and sometimes the connection drops, making it unreliable. It was a bit tricky to set up at first, and the app could be simpler for someone not too tech-savvy like me.
