As an engineer, I was skeptical about these smart devices, thinking they might be more trouble than they're worth. My expectation was that it would simplify my life, but the reality is a mixed bag. It does what it says for basic control, and delivery was quick, which was a plus. However, the voice feature is unreliable, and I found myself sticking to the buttons more often. For a gift, it's decent if the person is into home gadgets, but it's not perfect. Overall, it's functional but has its quirks :).
- Pros: It worked as expected for turning things on and off from my phone, which was handy when I forgot to switch something off before leaving home. The timer function seemed to save a bit on electricity, and the wall mount made it look neat without taking up space.
