first impression: when it arrived, the packaging was intact, which is always a good start. i hooked it up in my apartment here in la, and it was light as a feather to handle. it does its job of managing the temperature, but i'm skeptical about its long-term reliability. for the price, it's okay, but not super impressive. i might keep using it for now, but i'm already eyeing something better. it's fine for basic needs, but don't expect miracles. 😕
- Pros: the setup was super easy, just plugged it in and it worked right away, which was a relief. the screen is clear and easy to read, no issues there. it connects wirelessly to my other devices without any fuss, keeping things comfortable without me having to fiddle with it constantly.
- Cons: as it seemed to me, the wireless range isn't great—i had some drop-offs when i moved to another room. the build feels a bit cheap, not as sturdy as i'd like for something that's supposed to last. also, it doesn't offer much in terms of advanced controls, which is a letdown for a perfectionist like me.
