As a chef who does some video content for my recipes, I needed something simple for recording audio without fuss. This Ulanzi mic does the job most of the time, but it's not perfect. I like that it works with my phone and othre gadgets, and the courier called ahead for delivery, which was polite. For tips, I'd say keep it charged before use and maybe pair it with a windscreen for outdoor shots. Overall, it's decent for the price, but I might look for something sturdier if I use it more often.
- Pros: The sound is clear from every direction, which is great for capturing everything around me. It blocks out a lot of background noise, making recordings much cleaner. I can record two people at once, which is handy for conversations. It's lightweight and easy to carry around, and not having iwres is a big plus for moving freely.
- Cons: I'm not convinced it's as good as some higher-end options I've tried; the audio quality might be too basic for professional use. It feels a bit fragike, and I worry about durability over time. The battery life could be better, as it doesn't last through long sessions without needing a charge.
