as a builder, i'm used to dealing with security stuff, but this little device is a game-changer for my apartment. i put it on my back door since i live in a not-so-great part of miami with my kid, and it's already scared off what might have been a prowler—heard the alarm blare one night and saw someone bolt. it's ironic how something so cheap can do the job, but it does. the tamper detection is a nice touch, and the wireless freedom means i didn't have to wire anything up. just wish it was a bit less jumpy with false alarms, but for the price, it's a solid pick. overall, it gives me peace of mind without breaking the bank.
- Pros: i love how easy it was to set up—just stuck it on with the adhesive, no tools needed, and it's super loud when triggered, which makes me feel safer. the battery life is decent so far, and it works without any extra gadgets, perfect for my rental.
