i bought this as a gift for myself to feel safer at home. why did i choose it? well, i wanted something simple that works without wires. how has it been? after using it for a couple of months, it's been reliable mostly. i can check on deliveries or visitors from my couch, and it's nice not to rush to the door. but yeah, it has its moments where it acts up. would i recommend it? yes, for someone like me who isn't too techy but wants a basic helper.
- Pros: i liked that it connects to my wifi so i can see who's at the door from my phone anywhere in the house :). the picture is very clear and it was fairly easy to set up as it seemed to me. the battery lasts a long time and i can talk to people without opening the door which is handy.
- Cons: it gets a bit warm when i use it a lot and sometimes the connection drops for a moment. the sound quality when talking isn't always perfect but it's okay.
