My first impression was mixed I bought this on a whim thinking it would be a quick security boost for our home in Atlanta I have a kid and travel a lot so I wanted something simple The installation was a breeze just stuck it on the doorframe and it worked right away which was great BUT the delayed delivery had me worried for a bit though it arrived fine in the end The button is solid no issues with rain so far and I enjoy picking different sounds it adds a personal touch The LED light is VERY bright I can see it from across the room even when the TV is on loud However the smart alarm part seems underwhelming it just makes a noise if someone lingers too long not much else and the sound itself isn't the clearest it gets fuzzy sometimes which is frustrating For the price it's okay but not amazing I might keep it for now but I'm not totally satisfied
- Pros: I liked that it was incredibly easy to set up no tools needed and the button holds up well in wet weather the sound choices are fun and varied and the light alert is bright enough to catch my attention even with background noise
- Cons: The delivery was delayed a day which was annoying and the smart alarm feature seems a bit basic not as robust as I hoped for security and the sound quality could be clearer it sometimes distorts at higher volumes
