As a software developer, I was excited to upgrade my old Mitsubishi with this AutoSphere system, hoping for a seamless tech boost. While it does work wirelessly and the touchscreen is nice, the frequent disconnections and inaccurate GPS have been a letdown. It's not as robust as I'd hoped, and I often find myself missing the reliability of wired setups. For family use or daily driving, it's a bit of a gamble—sometimes it's fine, other times it's a headache. I love cycling and scooters, so having good navigation is key, but this doesn't cut it consistently. Overall, it's an okay attempt, but not worth the hassle for me.
- Pros: It hums when it works, and the wireless connection to my iPhone is super convenient, no more tangled cords. The screen is clear and responds well to touches, making it easy to see maps and menus. Installation was straightforward, and it fit right into my car without any major modifications.
- Cons: But it seems unreliable at times; the connection drops unexpectedly, and the navigation has led me astray a few times, which is frustrating. The sound quality isn't great, and it doesn't integrate smoothly with my car's existing systems. For the price, I expected better performance and fewer glitches.
