Before I got this, my car's entertainment was pretty basic—just a radio and a CD player, nothing fancy. I bought it on a whim because I thought it would be a fun upgrade for our drives, especially since my son enjoys gaming and we could stream music together. After using it for a couple of months, it's been a mixed bag. On the good days, it's GREAT—no cables cluttering up the car, and I can easily access maps or play podcasts. But on bad days, it acts up, disconnecting randomly or not responding to touches. It's not a total disaster, but it doesn't live up to the hype. For someone like me who isn't too tech-savvy but can handle basics, it's okay, but I wouldn't call it a must-have. It does the job, but just barely.
- Pros: It seems very easy to set up, and I liked that it works with both my phone and my son's without any wires, making the car feel more modern. The sound comes through clearly, and it was a nice surprise to have my favorite apps show up on the dashboard screen.
- Cons: I'm not convinced it's as smooth as they say—sometimes it takes a while to connect, and it doesn't work perfectly with every app. It feels a bit flimsy, and for the price, I expected more reliability. Also, it doesn't always recognize voice commands well, which is frustrating when I'm driving.
