I bought these Binchi Keji Travel gloves for the winter season here in Kitchener, where it gets bitterly cold. As a freelancer who often works from home but needs to be out for errands and family activities, I was looking for something that could handle the elements without sacrificing functionality. The first time I used them, I was impressed by how warm they felt right away—the lining is plush and cozy, almost like a soft blanket for my hands. I tested them during a bike ride with my son, and my fingers stayed toasty even in the wind. The ability to use my touchscreen without any issues was a huge plus; I could quickly respond to messages or check maps without fumbling. However, after a couple of weeks of use, I noticed that the gloves felt a bit tight around my knuckles, which became annoying during longer outings. Also, while they claim to be waterproof, I did experience some dampness after being in heavy snow for too long, though it wasn't a complete failure. The grip is decent for most things, but I slipped a few times when holding icy handles. Overall, they're good for short trips and everyday use, but I might look for something with a better fit if I need them for prolonged activities. Despite the drawbacks, they do their job well enough that I'd still recommend them for casual winter wear.
- Pros: I gotta say, these gloves kept my hands incredibly warm and dry during a sudden snowstorm while I was out with my child, and I could still use my phone easily without removing them, which was a lifesaver for checking directions.
- Cons: As it seemed to me, the fit was a bit too snug for my liking, making it uncomfortable during extended wear, and the non-slip feature didn't work as well as I hoped when handling wet objects.
