I bought this on a whim thinking it would solve my problem with my greenhouse getting too cold at night but the solution wasn't perfect It does its job mostly and I appreciate being able to monitor things remotely but the connectivity issues and occasional lag in alarms make it just okay not great My takeaway is it's a decent gadget for basic needs but don't expect it to be super reliable in a pinch
- Pros: It connects to my home network easily and lets me check the temperature and humidity from my phone which is super convenient when I'm in the kitchen cooking and want to keep an eye on things The alarm with sound and light is a nice touch giving me a heads up if something goes wrong without being too obtrusive in my decor
- Cons: One thing bugged me it only works with the two point four gigahertz band not the five gigahertz one which seems a bit outdated and caused some setup headaches in my crowded network The alerts can be delayed sometimes making me worry if I miss something important right away
