I bought this Chenxq building set for my grandson's birthday, thinking it would be a fun and educational activity. When it arrived, I was a bit taken aback because there was no box—just the pieces loose in a bag, which made it hard to keep organized. We sat down together to build it, and oh my, the instructions were a nightmare! They were poorly explained with tiny pictures that didn't make much sense, so we had to guess our way through a lot of it. It took us forever to finish, and my grandson got frustrated a few times, which was a shame because he usually loves puzzles. On the bright side, once it was done, the robot looked pretty cool, and he was proud of his work. It did seem to help with his problem-solving skills, and he's played with it since, but I wish the whole experience had been smoother. For the price, I expected better quality and clearer guidance. Not terrible, but definitely could be improved.
- Pros: The set has a huge number of pieces, which kept my grandson busy for hours and really sparked his imagination. I liked that it encourages thinking and creativity, making it more than just a simple toy. It was a nice gift idea, and he seemed to enjoy putting it together.
- Cons: As it seemed to me, the instructions were EXTREMELY confusing and not helpful at all—manuals are useless, honestly! It arrived without any proper packaging, which made it feel a bit cheap and messy. Building it was frustrating at times, and I was disappointed that it didn't come with a box for storage.
