As someone who bought this on a whim for my home, I have to say it's been a mixed bag. On the plus side, installation was a breeze—just used the double-sided tape and screws provided, and it was up in minutes. It's shielded my doorbell from light rain and the occasional hose splash, which is great for peace of mind with a kid running around. But man, during our last big storm here in San Jose, I noticed some moisture getting inside, and that's NOT ideal for something meant to be protective. It seems like it could be better sealed. A tip: maybe add some extra weather stripping yourself if you live in a rainy area. Overall, it does the job for most days, but I'm a bit let down by its performance in tougher weather. Would I recommend it? Yeah, but with caution—it's good, not great.
- Pros: The case fits my doorbell perfectly, no matter the brand, and it was super easy to install with everything included—I didn't need any extra tools. It feels really sturdy and has kept my doorbell safe from rain and splashes, which is a huge relief for home security.
- Cons: I was quite disappointed that it doesn't seem to handle heavy downpours as well as I hoped; water still gets in a bit during storms. The materials, while tough, feel a bit cheap in places, and it's not as intuitive to adjust once mounted.
